Opera Night - French Frolics
Friday 23rd May 2008 £59.00 per person
Cameo Opera return once again to Fawsley Hall to present a cork popping, light hearted and sometimes frivolous evening featuring Opera, Operetta and Musicals set in Paris, the city that has been the inspiration for so many composers, authors and artists.
Knightley Court will be the perfect setting for Verdi’s opera La Traviata where Violetta and guests extol the virtues of wine, women and song. Puccini’s opera La Boheme features some of the most popular arias and duets ever written and if that isn’t enough, enjoy the alluring grisettes from Maxims and meet the unsavoury landlord and other characters from the musical Les Miserables.
A cork popping celebration of music not to be missed
