Fawsley Hall is a Nordic Walking UK licensed facility, which also happens to be a four star country house hotel and spa, sitting in the most beautiful walking countryside. It is a perfect venue to combine outdoor fitness with complete relaxation and pampering.
What is Nordic Walking?
Nordic Walking is an enhancement of ordinary walking – it makes something we can all do twice as effective!
It is a specific fitness technique and not simply walking with poles like trekking or rambling. Nordic Training poles are planted behind you in order to propel you along and engage the upper body as well as the legs. This makes it easier to work quite hard!
10 Good reasons why you should try Nordic Walking at Fawsley Hall
- Burns 20-40% more calories than an average walk
- Works the whole body
- Easy to learn
- Sociable and fun
- Reduces the impact on joints
- Suitable for everyone
- Great for posture
- Can be done anywhere
